I am using the Pro Trial version 12.27. I want to buy to use with my Insta 360 pro camera but I cannot get the masking function to work. I have watched the tutorial, but when I mask in each of the six source images, it deletes the tripod but leaves behind a black cross hatch like a eraser tool. Am I doing something wrong, or is the mask only available in the purchased version.
Thanks for your help
John

Hi John,
Yes this is the expected outcome. Masking removes unwanted parts from
the panorama by making them transparent.
The idea is that you have multiple overlapping photos; when you mask
something in photo 1, it will be covered by pixels from the overlapping
part of photo 2.
In your case with the one shot camera, there are no other overlapping
photos to cover the hole. There is a 'fill hole' function in the
panorama editor, Blending side bar. This will cover the gap with a plain
color, similar to the surroundings.
