Align to grid - when using Ninja Nodal Mecha

Hello everyone,

Love PTGui, using it a lot. 

I photograph using a Ninja Nodal Mecha, it's usually a breath to align.
I did photograph medusa in an aquarium, it's absolutely impossible to create control points automatically.

Therefore I use "Align to Grid".
However, if I have 5 rows x 6 columns pictures taken

5 5 5 5 5 5
4 4 4 4 4 4
3 3 3 3 3 3
2 2 2 2 2 2
1 1 1 1 1 1

the pictures would have been taken from left to right, starting row 3, then 2, then 1, followed by 4 and then 5

How to manage this please? right now I can only choose start at bottom/top left/right? 

Shall I somehow relabel my sequence? If yes, how?

Hi Daniel,

You could reorder your images first in the source images tab so they
follow a regular sequence. Then do Align to Grid.

Or just enter yaw/pitch/roll manually in the Image Parameters tab. With
30 images it's not that much work.

If you shot multiple panoramas this way, you can save it as a template
for future use.

mmm, i see - i dont see an obvious way to copy/paste export/import pitch and yaw, so I have to do this manually?

Indeed I took multiple panos from here, i will try the template once I do it manually (let me know if I miss something!)

Dan, Back in May, you were going to try downloading a PTGui template from mecha.  How did that go?

Very good memory! I havent pursued this. Let me take a look how to. I use the mecha about once a month.
