Hi! I'm trying to photograph a mineral sphere that I've placed on a turntable in the hopes of creating a panorama that would show the entire surface of the sphere (minus the poles, which I haven't shot). Are there any video tutorials on how to do this? I've already taken my capture images (270 in total) but the software seems to be having difficulty with control points and, frankly, I'm not very knowledgeable on how to apply control points to a spherical object.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Greg,

I'm sorry, I don't think this is possible with PTGui. Stitching these
images requires understanding the shape of the object (a sphere). This
is not something PTGui can do.

Kind regards,

Hi all,

Not sure but may be you can tell PTGui that the sphere is a fisheye image.
Take 3, 120° apart and try to stich...
