I can import 32 bit openEXR files into PTGUI and create a panorama inside the program but there's no option to stitch/render/output it as a EXR.

Is there a reason we don't have openEXR as one of the output formats?

Ideally I like to render the panorama as a .EXR and then do the final tweaks in Photoshop using the 32 FLOAT V2 plugin: http://www.unifiedcolor.com/32-float-2

Hi Gavin,

PTGui Pro can output exr, you just need to switch to HDR mode. Go to the
Exposure/HDR tab and select 'Enable HDR stitching'.

Then at Create Panorama, enable 'HDR: HDR panorama'.
