Hi Joost,

I've just upgraded to PTGui 10.0 and first pano I try to stitch I get this error:

Error: OpenCL error: CL_UNKNOWN_ERROR (-9999) in PollTaskCompletion-clGetEventInfo

I've disabled OpenCL acceleration for now, but would very much like to have this issue figured out so I can get the speed boost.

I am running a Geforce GTX 760 (2GB) on my WIndows 8.1 PC and I have the graphic card drivers updated.

Thanks

I'm getting exactly the same error with same kind of graphics card (also same operating system). Disabling the OpenCL works for me too, but would like to see the problem fixed.

Same problem here. Using GeForce GTX 650 Ti. Turning OpenCL off helped but I'd like to have that feature enabled.

Thanks Joost,

I just updated to 10.0.1 and now GPU acceleration works very well on my machine.

Cheers from down under :-)

Hello,

I also have to report an error after installing PTGUI 10.0.1. The function "Create Panorama" always fails (no matter what format):

"OpenCL error: CL_INVALID_MEM_OBJECT (-38) in function clSetKernelArg"

It is not exactly the same error as Carlos reported but also happens within OpenCL and so might be rigth here in this thread.

Regards
Dietrich

Hi Lokesh,

That's totally unrelated to the original problem.

As the error message states your card with the current driver does not
support OpenCL 1.1.

You could try upgrading your graphics drivers, it might be that a newer
driver is available with support for OpenCl 1.1. But your card is an old
(2008) one so likely it's slower than stitching on the CPU.

Hi Dietrich,

This is a bug in older drivers for AMD cards.

Please check if you are indeed using an ATI/AMD card and download the
latest driver from http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
The right driver should be dated 2014. This has fixed the problem for
other users.
