Hi,

Want to ask is there is a way to create template to stitch panorama from 4x fisheye images (canon 90d with sigma 8mm 3.5) so the vertical alignment is excellent. Currently when I do batch processing, the vertical alignemnts are not good and ahve to be corrected one by one with control points, which is very time consuming,

much thanks, Jef

Hard to say without your template. Could you provide it and eventually a
set of source images for download? Use wetransfer, dropbox or similar.

Jef, PTGui is not able to level the panorama automatically without vertical and/or horizontal control points or orientation data from the camera.  The best it can do is straighten it by attempting to equalise the pitch and roll values.  If the axis of rotation of the panorama head was was precisely vertical, this process should then also level the panorama.  Or, If you were to precisely level the camera itself for the first shot, then you could use a template which set pitch and roll of the first image to 0 and thereby produce a levelled panorama automatically.  Note that the edit menu of the Panorama Editor contains both options:  Level (using vertical and horizontal line points) and Straighten.
