older version of PTGUI

Hello PTGui Support,

I am very happy with your software https://www.na-panorama.de, even though I am using an older version. I recently raved about PTGui to a colleague in Hamburg and he would like to purchase your app. However, he was a bit shocked by the price, as it was much higher than I had told him. He doesn’t use video either.

Is there a way for him to buy an older version rather than the current, expensive one?

Hi Norbert,

No I'm sorry, new licenses are only sold for the current version. It
would not be good to sell licenses for older unsupported software.

I figured as much, but I wanted to ask just to be sure.

Many users (like me) don't really need these new features (like video).

There is no video functionality in PTGui. Most notable enhancements
where: HDR, Patch editor, optimum seam, zero overlap blender, raw
import, color management, viewpoint correction, new image formats and
lots of small changes.

In my opinion viewpoint correction, optimum seam and zero overlap
blender are worth any penny.

You can always download and use the trial version first. Make sure to
install it in a different folder to not lose your current full version.
And even if, you can get older versions from the PTGui site:
https://ptgui.com/app/download
Also see https://ptgui.com/versionhistory.html for what has been fixed
and added in any version.
