In my new workstation I have installed a NVIDIA Quadro M4000.
The Advanced Options of PTGui tell me that there is "None (no supported GPU device available)" and "OpenCL is not supported on your computer".
But the datasheet of the NVIDIA M4000 says, that OpenCL is supported.
Do I need to do something after the installation of PTGui?
Thanks!
Ernst

Hi Ernst,

Coincidentally I just got a support request by an NVidia M5000 user with
the same problem. He was able to fix it by installing the latest GPU
driver (in his case R358.91).

In any case the problem is not in PTGui, if it reports "OpenCL is not
supported on your computer" this simply means that it failed to load
opencl.dll. In the above case it turned out there was only a 32 bit
OpenCL runtime installed, while PTGui needs a 64 bit version.

Kind regards,

Thank you, Joost!
This was a good tip! I only looked for a new driver on the Homepage of the Computer manufacturer. Now it works incredibly fast :-))
The same Panorama: 45 sec on my Laptop (already with SSD-disk) - now less than 2 sec.
Regards, Ernst

I can confirm that drivers on my GeForce 660 TI card needed to be updated as well, and that this fixed the issue.
