It's been years since shooting a 360, so wondering if anyone else happens to be using a z9 with ptgui?  And what your workflow is.

My setup: z9, nodal ninja 6, nikon fisheye 8-15 (at f11ish)
A quick test showed that the the hi compression files didn't get recognized, but jpegs from them worked great.

I only have a couple spins to make tomorrow so that will work unless there's an easy way to get the raw recognized by ptgui?

PTGui uses the LibRaw raw converter.  The latest supported camera list declares "Z 9 (HE/HE* formats are not supported yet)".  In any case, LibRaw only offers a basic standard of conversion.  It is better to convert the raw images to tiff in a good raw converter ( Photoshop/LR) to take full advantage of shooting raw images. e.g. to correct chromatic aberration most effectively.

It looks like LibRaw still not supporting the Z9 raw formats.  What would be your recommendation for shooting  brackets, <camera raws 0 -3 +3>  <LR adjustments>  <HDR Blends>  <at this point might as well export jpegs?>  <stitching in PTGui>

Hi,

You would need to convert your raw files to 16 bit tiff, and stitch
those in PTGui.

You can merge to HDR in Lightroom, or you can let PTGui Pro handle the
HDR merging. Be careful when making adjustments during raw conversion as
these may cause blending or HDR merge issues. Adobe Camera Raw has an
option to synchromize a set of images so they get the same treatment.
Don't apply shadow/highlight adjustments before stitching as these will
cause blending issues.

Kind regards,
