Dear  Joost,

I have often the need to export 2D images from 360°.

the detail viewer is great for this purpose but i cannot lock the aspect ratio of the window(unless some guessing resizing the window). it would be so great to have a lock or enter aspect ratio to this window. so i can enter the angle Values to view the pano and export a 16x9 image turn a bit and go again.....

maybe this is usefull  for somebody else

ps.
i know i cannot change the projection in the detail viewer.... ( maybe...)
Also exporting the regular way there is no way to enter absolute angles only relative unless i go notepad....

You could try my PanGazer application .. it was originally written for exactly this purpose (but now does a lot more).

You can explicitly control the aspect ratio of a window (view) from the Window menu (shortcut 'a').
