Hi all, When I open PTI Gui I get this error message, any clues please?
"Failed to initialize OpenCL. We'd like to fix this problem. Please contact
sup...@ptigui.com and give us the output of help-system information.
Error: OpenCl error: CL_BUILD_PROGRAM_FAILURE (-11) in function clBuildProgram"

Thanks in anticipation,
Richard

Did you do that? This error is caused by your graphic card, and Joost
needs the requested information to fix it...

Richard, in addition to emailing a copy of the system information to Support, you can try a workaround:

Disable GPU acceleration by going to Tools->Options-> Advanced and uncheck the 'GPU acceleration' box. PTGui will run fine without GPU acceleration, just slower.

Hi Erik,

no, I didn't do it as you ask. I have no idea at all how to obtain any info for the graphics card so I can send it to support!

Do you know where I could find the information required?

Thanks ,
Richard

Richard, Just click on Help and select System Information.  You will get a panel like this.:

sysinfo.jpg

The text is already selected, so right click in the panel and select Copy.  Then paste into your email to Support.

Hi Richard,

Most likely you are running into this issue, please see 4.23:
https://ptgui.com/support.html#4_23
A workaround for the problem was implemented in PTGui 12.15. Updating to
the latest version should solve the problem.

Kind regards,

Joost Nieuwenhuijse

Morning Joost,

thanks for the reply. I'm currently running 12.7 version. To upgrade to 12.15 how much would that cost please?

Regards,
Richard
