What are the main purposes of schematic tool ?

In <JMETER_HOME>\extras

I see : 

schematic.cmd

Create a schematic of the test plan as an HTML file


Ok you have a html file that contains your JMeter script but why ?

It 's a solution du "show" the script without open it in jmeter gui ?
It's a solution to make a diff between 2 version of 2 jmeter scripts ?
A solution to translate the html page in another tool or language DSL ?

Do you use the feature and that are the benefices ?
