Hi guys.
You can now get a fairly comprehensive single-page Ptah application
running on heroku in a < 10 minutes.
https://github.com/ptahproject/heroku-ptah
You can see the "full application" running on heroku at:
http://young-ocean-1352.herokuapp.com/wstest.html
follow the directions (nearly all pinched from webmaven's urbsly
project) and it should just work - it did
for me a few minutes ago.
ptahcms.Content will stick around (needed for fairly complex CMS-y
requirements) but
for dumb CRUD its over-kill. so a decorator, @ptah.type can decorate
sqlalchemy model
and handle most of the model/ui requirements - we have found.
that is being fleshed out more in ptah and hopefully final changes
will land this week.
ptah and ptahcrowd should have new releases.
some other news. pyramid_sockjs has had its monkey patches removed
now gunicorn has
a new release.
some settings will be changing, amd-enabled will probably be moved to
nodejs-path
while nodejs is not required it is highly recommended to
bundle/compile handlebars
ptah-amdjs (console entry-point) does introspection and feeds nodejs
list of files.
it makes application responsiveness much faster.
its late.
