Frick Park Workday

November 13, 2010 – 12 Noon   Meet at the Nature Center Parking Lot. Our work items include:

 

• Beginning the work to extend the trail to the Forbes avenue Bridge.
• Narrowing the entrance
• Doing maintenance of the ramps an log piles
• Invasive species removal

Food and beverages will be provided. Tools will be provided, but as always, if anyone has some extra hedge clippers or loppers, please bring them.  Mcleods, Pulaski’s, or Metal leaf rakes would be helpful too. We recommend wearing sturdy boots, long sleeve pants and shirts. Also, please carry a water bottle – it will be hot.

After the work – rides and hikes in the park followed by donated liquid refreshment at a close by location to be determined.
