Hi, I am trying to find a method of loading a voice synthesizer or a
friend's voice into Pro Tools with their permission and finding some
pitch changing plugin that either exists in Pro Tools directly or
something that I can buy that is accessible to allow me to record my
voice and running it threw this plugin make my voice sound nearly like
the synthesizer or my friend.  I have heard that users with vision can
do this but was wondering what options exist for the Pro Tools user on
the mac or in any windows 10 pro 64 bits audio editor.  My plans are to
use this method in audio productions once I learn it very well.  Nick

I don’t know what the process of sjidechaining is like in pro tools but I have used Vocal Synth from Izotope to do something similar before.

I think Izotope stuff has a 10 day trial. The installer for their portal isn’t accessible but VOCR can get you through it. Other than that the plug ins are fairly accessible to varying degrees with the more recent stuff seeming more so. Once again I haven’t used these in Pro Tools so your mileage may vary.
