Hello!

When using "AudioSuite"/"Signal Generator"...
Is there a way to enter a particular frequency like 84.2?
Even trying VOCR I'm not able to find and click the field for that.

Thanks and best! / Martin

Hi Martin,
Here's something you might try: Load the signal generator into a standard insert and adjust the frequency to roughly the number you need and then use either an encoder knob or fader while holding down the command modifier to more finely adjust it. Alternatively, you might have better luck with VOCR in this case as well,. Once you've got the frequency set, save it as a preset to load into the Audio Suite plug-in. Let me know if that helps,
Slau

Hello Slau!

Much better.
Now VOCR most of the times recognizes the field for the frequency.
But no decimals are possible here.

Thank you! / Martin

Exactly which frequency are you trying to generate?
You might try looking into getting "Make a Test tone" by Audio Ease, the makers of Altiverb. If I'm not mistaken, it's a free app. If it costs anything, it's a nominal fee. It's accessible and can do sweeps as well.

Hello Slau!

My idea is to generate some tones to tune ukulele and guitar for easy use on the go.
Tones in my desired octave, length etc.
So I started using the "Signal Generator" in Pro Tools.
I'll check the suggested app.

Thank you and best! / Martin
