Hello, congratulations on graduating. The visually impaired community is very resourceful, and everyone works together to get the most out of accessibility. There are numerous WhatsApp groups and dropbox resources that you can tap into. If you have not used flow tools, it makes using ProTools a lot easier for a blind person with using macros from keyboard maestro.

Thank you, Andre. Yes, Steve Vasquez told me about flow tools. I’ve downloaded it and installed it.
I am also on the WhatsApp group or perhaps on one of them. I don’t know if they’re more the dropbox Slaugh gave me access to the main one I guess.

That’s great there’s some more action happening back on the ProTools email list. I hadn’t heard from anyone in a while. 😉 Congratulations Hammet on your graduation from college in May! That’s awesome! 

Are most people getting info from the WhatsApp group for using ProTools now? I haven’t joined this yet. Has there been changes/updates with ProTools 2026? I just browsed the contents of the PT tutorial for Voiceover users on the PT Access site. I don’t think it has been updated in 4 years since 2022.

Thanks Katie.

Yes it was last may.

I figured as most serious serious pros use Mack I'd learn mack.

I listened to Steve Baskis's videos and messaged him and he's the 1 that told me about Flo Tools and the like.

Vinney put me in the what's app. Because the day I was chatting with him I was at the mall looking at the Mack Studio. Man so would love 1 of those.

As to your other questions I'll let Slau or others take over as I don't know even what PT you're on.

But I will say that yes with 2026 there are plugins from a company called Akon and yes I know I spelt it like the rapper. My bad if that's not the case. Also for my particular interests PT now supports Soney's 360 reality audio and some other format I can't recall at the moment.
