Hey Davis:
It's simple. Don't overthink it. I've interned at radio stations,
working in production studios. Having a good understanding and command
of your production gears is the first priority, be it music recording
studio or radio production studio. Next is being result-driven,
keeping your focus on the output as the time tick. In addition, you
have to study how they want their production and adhere to it while
you're putting your own touch to it. Don't let how they want their
productions make you throw your style and essence out of the window.
Also, interact with the employees as well as other interns, but not
too much that you don't get anything done. Be cordial and ask
questions when you don't know and for clarification. Lastly, shadow
your supervisors no matter how young or old they are--pay attention.
Hope this helps. Wishing u an eye opening and fulfilling experience.
God bless! Take care!
Best,
Dammie
