M32 transports aren't working: how do I set this up?

Right now, I've created an instrument stereo track. I've instantiated
Komplete Kontrol. In my browser, I went on my factory library side to
Alecia's Keys, then used the big auditorium preset. I then did shift+R
to arm the track. Up to this point, everything worked flawlessly.


Now comes the problem. When I hit the record button on the actual M32
controler, forgive me, I don't have perfect pitch, so can't tell you the
note, but it's playing a very very high note through Alecia's Keys,
probably in the most top octave of an 88 key keyboard rather than
activating the record transport. So, how do I get my transport buttons
and such to work?
