Hi David,
I'm replying both directly and to the PTAccess list where such questions are helpful to others and you might get others' perspectives.
There's no specific reason to go to Catalina except that you'd then be able to use VOCR which can really come in handy. Other than that, there's no specific reason to upgrade as it concerns Pro Tools.
Hope that helps,
Slau

Hi David,
You should see a Drop Box invite to the PT Access Drop Box. It's about 3 GB in size. Please be careful not to delete anything from the folder and don't expand stuff within the folder. Rather, copy it to your local drive instead and unzip from there. There's a Demos folder that includes an explanation of edit modes. Hope that helps,
Slau

Hey Slau. regarding this can you explain to me exactly what VO CR is and what it does to make things easier. Is VO CR part of Voice over or something you download. I must have missed some info about this. currently i’m still running mojavi. I haven’t updated at this point because everything is just running so smoothly. But I most likely will at some point.

Hi Steve,
There is a version of VOCR for Mojave but it pales in comparison with the newer version which works only under Catalina. When the time comes, do a search for VOCR Catalina Github and it'll be right at the top of the results. The Github page gives all the instructions for installation and operation.
HTH,
Slau

yeah cool. out of interest what does VO CR give us in terms of accessibility for PT. Does it make things more accessible?

Hi Steve,
Yes, you can use it to read results when analyzing peaks in the Gain plug-in, loudness in the Pro Limiter, not to mention a whole bunch of things in any plug-in window where automation parameters don't apply like buttons and menus.
