problem with midi operations in pt2026.4

Hi All,

when i e.g. want to transpose an instrument track with one half note, pro tools seems to transpose three times. So i have to undo the operations two times to get the result i wanted.
Also with other midi operations such as quantize or change velocity the operation is done three times.
I search the internet but can't find a solution.
Any idea what the problem is?

Hi Tom,
yeah!
Its messed up here also!
Theres a bug fix in the works!
File a tech support issue if you can.
The split notes dialogue, is really messed up also! :(
The only work around I found so far is to shut off VO and hit the enter key and some times it will behave! :(
If every body could let them know that I’m not alone in this!

Hi tom,

When doing anything MIDI related like splitting notes, make sure that window is zoomed in full. Otherwise, a bunch of items are not visible. There might be something you're missing in the dialog.

For what it's worth, you can also select an entire MIDI or instrument track, set your view to Notes rather than clips and simply press the up arrow once and it will transpose everything a semitone.
