Flo tools Creating custom view

Hi, 

I am trying to configure plugin custom views following the flo tools guide

I ve cut first line in the txt file and saved as a plain text.

The guide doesn t say wher to save the file

Can you please let me knwo where do I save the editet text file?

Also I having trouble to get mouse coordinates.

I've navigated to the parameter with voiceover cursor and then get the mouse on the poistion with VO-command-f5.

The problem is that the Voiceover does not speak the mouse coordinates. 

Can you please help to get the coordinates?

Also when I open the UAD Neve 1073 flo tools doesn't speak "defaul plugin uad neve 1073"

Can someone help?

The documentation on the web site details where to put the file. This is what it says:

These plug-in view files are located in ~/Library/Application Support/Flo Tools/Plug-In Views.

I think you're misunderstanding how to get coordinates. You don't navigate to the parameter with VoiceOver. Instead (and this is why we explain that you need sighted assistance),you need to have somebody position the mouse where the edit field for the parameter appears in the user interface section of the plug-in. When you press Command Option Shift C (with Flo Mouse enabled), VoiceOVer will speak the coordinates of the mouse pointer and copy them to the clipboard. That's what you paste into the text file.

Hi Slau,

I missed the mouse float step.

Now it’s working. 

Actually I don’t need a sight assistant. I found a torun around.

I’ve navigated to the parameter with voice over cursor once on the parameter i performed a VO get mous pointer on voiceover cursor CONTROL OPTION COMMAND F5.

The curso is now positioned on the knob of the parameters

So I pressed OPTION COMMAND SHIFT C to copy the coordinates and then pasted into the txt file template. 

That worked for me. This should work on any plugin unless is not visible by voiceover.

I hope this can help someone. 

One more question is there anyone who can share plugin custom view personalization for UAD WAVE SOUNTOYS plugins?

That would be handiy. 

It woul be ccol to add to the Flo tools script and create a plugin lirbrary has you have done with EQ3 7 band etc….

If you want I can do my part with the plugin I got installed.

Sorry unforuntately doesn’t work wiht my method it only worked for a couple of parameters. I was just lucky that the VO cursor was at the right place,

Yes, I tried to explain that in my message. You need sighted assistance. Navigating to the parameters that VoiceOver sees is not at all the same as navigating to an edit field. Just by sheer coincidence, some edit fields might end up being roughly around the position that the mouse pointer will travel while moving across the top of the window while voiceOver goes from parameter to parameter. For this to actually work, you need someone to position the mouse pointer and then grab the coordinates.
