HELP - I can't edit waveform in edit window

Hi All 

I have a big problem with 3 tracks on my PT project.

I am trying to clean up vocal tracks clearing some unwanted talk before and after the vocals tracks but I can’t clear, cut, separate regions only on those 3 tracks.

I have tried checked if:

- Tracks are active

- tracks are frozen (even for the bus tracks)

- Disable automatons

- Duplicate only the clips on a new track 

Nothing worked. I am visual impaired and from what I see the color of way form si grayish.

I can’t figure out who to solve the problem. 

It seems I can’t edit something since when I do CMD E voice over says “separate” but if I select delete the separated region nothing happen. 

Any Idea. Do I miss something. 

I am sure I have activate some function by mistake…

Hi Luca,

I'm leaving the studio and getting on a train and won't be available for the rest of the evening. In the mean time, check if your track view somehow was accidentally changed to something other than Waveform. Find the track view pop-up in the track in the Edit window and make sure it's set to Waveform. Hopefully others can take it from there.

Sorted thank you. That was the problem
The 3 tracks were set as volume display in the edit window. Maybe I've just pressed a shortcut to change the track view by mistake.
