Giving tech-support remotely with VoiceOver & TeamViewer for pro tools?

Hi list,
I have a friend that needs tech-support & wants me to use TeamViewer to help him with Pro Tools.
Is this doable with apples screenreader VoiceOver?
If so what are best practices while using TeamViewer on my Mac Pro & his Mac pro using apples screenreader VoiceOver?

I wouldn't use teams viewer, I would use Zoom and Apple screen sharing. He will need to send voiceover through zoom though because Apple screen sharing does not give you audio from the other side. I've done this in multiple different ways with different configurations so let me know if you need/want further explanation
