Pro tools does open in Sonoma now, but voiceover is pretty unreliable and has some very nasty bugs, to the point that I would not recommend anyone be on it for a production machine, or for that matter even a non-production machine. Command tab doesn't even reliably change focus Anymore, so until they sort some stuff out I would avoid Sonoma if at all possible

It definitely isn't yet certified, although, I'd imagine it shouldn't be but a few months at the rate we're going. Please know this is totally speculation, so, Slau, don't kill me for saying that! Huge disclaimer! Huge huge disclaimer! It's not yet certified, but I've found that lots of 3rd party venders have already made things ready. For instance, unless I read things wrong, which is possible, it looks like most Waves stuff is ready. I've read online people having mixed results. Some say it doesn't even open/launch, others have said it works kind of, while others have said it works really really well. So, I'd say do it at your own risk.

If I had another mac here, which I don't, I'd be happy to test it for ya, but since the only system I have is my main production machine, I'd rather not do it yet until I know at least a handfull of folks who've done so in the blind community successfully. If you have a system though which isn't your primary system, then go for it! But, just know if you do, you're working with unsupported stuff at this point.

Youzers! Good to know. Thanks for the confirmation. Thank God I didn't chance it.
