Hi guys. I’m aiming to update to the latest version of protools, and flotools.

From reading the flotools instructions, i believe it works with sierra, and mojave. If I install both pro tools and flotools, can I install on sierra and update to mojave at a later date, or am I better to do the mojave upgrade before doing the updates.

For what it's worth, it's just a little easier to upgrade while you're in Sierra. Once you update to Mojave, you'll need to say yes to a number of things in the installation process. Mojave's security settings are more elaborate. I'd do the PT and FT updates then go for Mojave.

yes, i read about these security things on flo tools site. .. Thanks for this Slau
Does protools 19 require any more Cpu power or ram or are the specs the same.
Great stuff.
Cheers Steve

By most accounts, CPU usage is more efficient as reflected in lower buffer size requirements. Other than that, it's pretty much the same. I seem to recall that the memory suggestion went up to 16 GB of RAM but I don't remember when that happened.
HTH,
Slau
