though I do not feel I owe anyone an explanation as to why I'm making this decision, and, though this has been a very difficult decision for me to make, at this time in my life, I need to step away from most blindness related Technology related matters. Yes, that includes this email list. I may come back at some point. That decision has yet to be determined.
I do wish, if this be allowed to remain a member of the dropbox group, however, I'm willing to sacrifice that if it won't be. I do need to ask however, seeing that I have never done this with Google groups, how does one go about unsubscribing from this list? Further, how does one go about temporarily leaving the WhatsApp group?

Should be an unsubscribe link at the bottom of this message, or any message. Click that and it should just do it. Can't speak for others though, I know the raspberry vi group is slightly different, for example.

You can mute your ProTools WhatsApp group in the WhatsApp application, That would be a way of temporarily separating yourself from the group. well at least you wouldn’t get notifications, but could unmute the group at a later date if you wanted to participate again. When you are in the WhatsApp application in the group, at the very top there should be a group icon. if you click on it and in that window you should be able to find a menu that allows you to mute always.

Just exit the whatsApp group, you can always rejoin at any time. If you don't delete the drop Box folder, you can continue accessing it.
