If you have Flo Tools, there are a set of macros you can use for NumPad emulation. I haven’t needed to use them, but I know they work well based on everything else the team has done.

I may be mistaken, but I believe shuttle mode is HD only. Regardless, you can still do simple fast forward and rewind with NumPad keys.

Hi guys:

A glorious day to you all! Does anyone knows what disables the up and
down arrow key from making selection? Often times with me, the keys
stop working for making selection and go back to their normal computer
functions, reading the items on a line when they pused as oppose to
indicating the beginning and end of selection. Somebody help me out
here! This happen too often that I can't take it anymore and not know
why or how to reverse it. Thanks!

Turn off quicknav in VO.
Further keep in mind that the up- and down-arrow keys do different things depending of the selected track is audio or midi.

 Thank you, I was a sonar use her for years. This is a little bit taxing on me. But I will get it.
