Hi guys:

Wonderful Wednesday to you all. I'm trying to take out mouth clicks
from an interview. I initiated RX7 declick on the track and changed
output clicks from off to on. It then give me the clicks present in
the audio. And when I hit delete, everything disappear. Then when I
hit spacebar, I don't have any vocal, so I undo it. Now, my question
is how do I take out the clicks without deleting the vocal? Please
help! Thanks.
Best,
Dammie

You lack an understanding of how Audio Suite and the plug-in works. Changing the output to clicks simply outputs only the sound of what will be removed once you process the sound. You don't delete or else you're deleting the clips rather than processing the audio. Read the chapter about Audio Suite and how it works. Then it would probably be a good idea to read about how RX works, especially the De-Click or Mouth Noise de-Click works. Once you've invested the time in trying to learn these things, it'll be much easier to help you when you run into an issue. Otherwise, you're asking people to teach you a few subjects that simply cannot be communicated in a few sentences.
Hope that helps,
Slau

One more thing: I'm speaking about Audio Suite because that's how most people process things like this. If you're instantiating RX as a standard AAX plug-in, you also don't "delete" anything because you're simply deleting clips. It's no different from trying to delete a frequency with an EQ. Deleting is an action of the timeline. processing with a plug-in is not a deletion. You'd be well-advised to use the standard presets in RX7. Unfortunately, nobody has made any tfx presets for RX7. Either get some sighted assistance to save out some presets (which will work wonderfully) or ask someone to take a look at parameters in an earlier version and set your parameters to match and at least you'll get results.
