Hey folks. Trying to use the “Smooth” feature in the beat detective window to autocross fade a bunch of clips.
However, I get the following error. Audio tracks must be in Waveform display.
When I look at the track strip in the edit window for the track in question, it is set to waveform by default.
I gotta be missing something somewhere.
Any thoughts?

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

If all you're looking to do is a bunch of crossfades across many continuous regions, make a selection through all of them and bring up the fades dialog. There you can define the crossfade length and type and that should do the trick for each region in one step.
