Hi list members, I’d like to know if the way that you put an instrument on a track in pro tools has changed? I ask this question because it has been a while since i’ve done anything. I’d like to get back to recording. P.S. I’d also like to know what instruments work with vst 2. I’m not sure if everything that i have will work with vst 3? Thank you for any information that you might have concerning these questions.

No, the way to create an instrument track is the same as always. However, ProTools does not support vst plugins natively, avid has their own plugin format called AAX, which is the only plugin format Pro tools will open.
