If I use the drum VST that came with Pro tools, and I want to record a kick drum, what is the best way to get that kick drum back down to audio. Do I bounce? Or is there an easier way?   Should I buy a dedicated drum VST such as superior drummer?

Hi jimmie,
Just use the "commit track" after your done recording the Kick on the instrument track.
