hi. I read a post on here last week regarding time machine backups. someone said that restoring your machine with time machine leads to problems with protools. hmm. Well i did not know this.
So what is the best solution for backing up correctly. I’d like to do this quickly in case of disaster. wow. i did not know this at all.

I have never had problems doing this, not sure to what he is
referring.

I mentioned it a few weeks ago, because I remembered something about it for system optimization.

I didn’t see it in the current optimization guide shortly after, but I found the Avid article just now.


It was last updated over a year ago, so it’s likely that newer versions have this issue fixed.
