I've upgraded to the most recent versions of Pro Tools and keyboard maestro, is the preflight check list the same?

Hi Slaugh I’d like to know if the preflight check list is the same since i’ve upgraded to the most recent version of pro tools and keyboard maestro? I’d like to know if the preflight check list for Pro Tools is still going to work the same even though the version of Pro tools is different, also what about keyboard maestro, are there new commands or ways to use keyboard maestro to work with komplete. I just thaught that i would ask these questions, Also concerning the pro tools tutorials i’d like to put them on my external drive, how would i do that if i may ask. Thank you for any information that you might have concerning these questions.

Hi David,

Of course, the checklist is assuming that you have the latest versions of Keyboard maestro, Pro Tools, Flo Tools, etc, and will be updated accordingly if needed. As far as macros for Komplete, they are in the Komplete Kontrol dropbox folder with read Me’s, etc.

You can’t put the pro tools guide on a local hard drive because it’s not a single downloadable file. It’s located on a webpage with multiple resources, etc. I suppose you could create an html version of it from Safari or whatever your browser is, but I’m not sure how well that would work. It’s much easier to just visit https://ptaccess.github.io when you need it, and know that everything is up to date, etc.

Same principles apply. The guide cannot be specific for every combination of Pro Tools and MacOS but the basic controls are still the same.

Keyboard Maestro is the same and there are no differences as it pertains to Flo Tools. I'm not sure what you are referring to specifically regarding Komplete Kontrol.

The guide is both text and audio and most easily absorbed online. If you want to have a local copy of the audio demonstrations, you can right-click the play button and download an mp3 for each demonstration.
