macOS Catalina

Good afternoon everyone,

So I made the mistake of updating to macOS Catalina.

Now ProTools isn’t opening up at all.

What do I do?

I’m not sure which version of ProTools I have, I got it in 2018.

You need the latest version of protools either 19.12 or the newest one

Depends on your license type, I do the yearly so I get the newest
versions, not sure if you got the perpetual license, you might have
to pay a yearly upgrade or something.

Can you explain to me how The latest version of ProTools  is compatible with Catalina?

And if possible, can you list any and all compatibility issues that it may still have?

I’ve heard that on the avid website, it states that it’s not compatible with Catalina

Check the website again, it explains in much more detail than I can,
but basically it will do audio but not edit mp4 files. But install it
and see what happens, you are in the soup now, so try it.
