Hi:

Thanks for sharing, The information is very useful, my problem is solve.

I have some question for ProTools 10/11.
Now I using ProTools11, I always use ProTools do the midi and audio.
But I have some VST plug ins in PT11 can not use because The PT11 only support AAX.
If I change back to PT10, I am afraid the PT10 accessible for voice over is not good than PT11, I would like to ask whether such?
What is the difference The PT10 and PT11 about the accessibility?
I use mac OS10.10, can use back to PT10?

Hi Tim,

The main difference is that, in versions of 10, one must remove the AAX plug-ins and use the RTAS versions. When trying to use the newer AAX versions, the plug-ins were not accessible. A number of other things were improved in version 11 including access to AAX plug-ins. perhaps most important was the accessibility of the MIDI Event List. It's been a while so I don't even recall the other things right now.

I've never used VST plugs and I know there are wrappers out there but I'm not sure about the status of VST wrappers for AAX plug-ins, especially 64-bit.

So far, you mean is in PT10 I can not accessible use the event list,
but in 11 I can, is it?
I want to know the midi event list is how to use? because in
version11, I only press the up and down or tab key to control.
have more details can teach me?
