So how do you do this? The workspace window is shite as us Irish would say... only way I have gotten the provided files to work is to import midi, and set a send up to EZ... I know.... I know... Get virsion two. And I may, but it would be nice to use the midi files the thing comes with... Help!!!!!

Not going to happen as the groove browser in any Toontrack product is
completely inaccessible both on Windows and Mac so don't waste your money on
EZ Drummer 2. Still if you want to use the EZX's and set them up with
multiple outputs either on Windows or Mac or use the .s20 files that I
set-up in Superior Drummer 2 with multiple outputs or any of the ones that
use X Drums then you know what I am going to say. Wait for it,
dubdadubdadubba, get Superior Drummer 2 and use it in Pro Tools with Flow
Tools or with HotSpotClicker in Windows 7 or 10 in Sonar 8.5.3, Samplitude
Pro X3 Suite or Samplitude Pro X3.

Man it would sure be a shame to be back in the sonar environment because of something like this. I just wish ProTools made it easy to import midi to a track with EZ Drummer, as sonar did.

In regards to what you asked about garage band Ricky, it seems as though I remember someone saying you could use superior drummer or EZ Drummer with some success. As I recall from that person's post in July, you can select the drum pattern you want from the provided library, and copy and paste it into the timeline on garage band. Please take these comments with a grain of salt though, as obviously I have not tried this before. However the person who posted sounded as though they had experience doing this in garage band and logic. I have no skills in garage band, but may consider building some.

OK, so that question would be better suited to the Logic list. Superior Drummer is now accessible in Pro Tools via Flo Tools' Plug-In Views feature.

I would also like to know that. Would be cool if you could use it in Logic although the drummer is good there.

No but there are some presets that you can get hold of that are set-up as
multiple output.

Slau,

I understand the routing of outputs and so on is accessible, but how about the libraries? I am more than happy to upgrade to superior drummer, my only worry is that I won't be able to access the library of patterns it comes with.

Shawn

OK, the Grooves tab is inaccessible on both Windows and Mac. You can certainly import the MIDI files into Pro Tools and drag them to the timeline but it would be quite an ordeal if you haven't done a lot of that stuff before.

Just to clarify, the libraries are accessible but the Grooves tab is not.
