I am going to be getting a mac mini, with the following specks.

3.2 ghz processer, turbo boost up to 4.6 a six core, 512 gigs of
storage, which is an ssd and 32 gigs of ram.

Will this configuration run the latest version of protools just fine, or
will I need to max out the memory?

How much does flowtools cost as well?

Ron.

as I have said many times, Flotools doesn't cost anything. what costs is keyboard maestro, which is about 35 to 40 bucks if I remember correctly. it is a one-time license. it's not like you're paying monthly or anything like that.

as for your new system, it depends on what you're trying to do, and what type of plug-ins you plan to be using. for the most part, this should run pro tools just fine. you won't have any problem.

THos e specs should be plenty powerful, Though if you can spare the cash I’d max out the RAM for no reason than future proofing. Also don’t forget you will probably need an external drive or two depending on what kind of work you plan to do.
