What could make markers delayed

Morning guys:

I'm having this little problem. There seem to a delay in and it's
affecting my markers placements. For me drop a marker at a specific
point in an audio, the audio would have to play pass the point I need.
For instance, let's say an audio has this phrase, everyday, I'm
hussling. If I want to drop my marker right at I'm, I would have to
wait to here hussling. Does anyone knows what the case might be? I've
tried all I know and thought could be the case, but all to no success
yet. Thanks in advance for your time and effort.

is that the Command K sort-cut. I'm not sure what I turned on, but I'd
check it now and see. Please help confirm this short-cut key. Thanks

Yes, that is command K.
If running Flow Tools you will have to press twice quickly to toggle.
