After updating to the latest version of Pro Tools, I can no longer use my Kontrol S61 to control Native Komplete. What may have went wrong, and has anyone else seen this behavior?

Make sure you've deleted any FB360 plug-ins from your installation/update. Unless you're specifically creating video for the facebook environment, you won't need those plug-ins. Delete them and reboot and you should be good to go.

Thanks. I'll make sure that didn't get installed again.

Hi Jesse.
What do you mean when you say "Komplete Kontrol does not work"?
I am asking because I seem to have stumbled upon something strange after installing the latest Pro Tools update. Namely, after inserting a Komplete Kontrol plugin, I just do not hear any speech

I rescanned plugins and even tried Slau's suggestion of removing all the FB360* plugins, but to no avail.
Komplete Kontrol works fine as a stand-alone app, as a plugin in Logic, but refuses to speak in Pro Tools.
Any idea as to what may be going on here?

PS I did make sure to arm the track... :)

Thanks.
Vic

Hi Vick,
Once I took the FB360 stuff out, things worked fine. You have to use its uninstall app to get it out though, not just delete the folder.

I see. WHere do you find its "uninstall" app?

Hello!

Does the FB360 stuff effect other situations, too?

Thanks! / Martin

In your applications folder. Open that, and press F. Should take you to FB360. Open that folder, and to uninstal is right there...providing you didn't manually trash the folder. If you did, you'll need to restore it from the trash.
