Pro Tools 2021.10 was just released and one of the long-awaited features is the Komplete Kontrol host integration. KK users can now use the 5-way encoder to move between instances of KK and not have to concern themselves with which instance is being controlled. Further, the transport functions on the KK series keyboards control the Pro Tools transport. In addition, other features like track volume, mute and solo are also available from the keyboards. Also, the edit cursor can be moved by the nudge value with the 5-way encoder. This was a long time coming.

In the MIDI Controllers tab of the Preferences dialog in Pro Tools, select Komplete Kontrol from the first pop-up menu and the other 2 pop-up menus get filled in automatically and you're good to go.

Enjoy,
Slau
