Before SAFDA can send out an invitation for bids for Roctober 2013 and Nationals 2014, we need to finalise guidelines and incentives for the organisation of tournaments. We need everyone's input into that, as well as a number of important issues that relate to Ultimate in SA.
Therefore, please submit your thoughts on the online SAFDA survey at:
It is Multiple Choice and will take less than a minute. Caveat: 1 Wo/man, 1 Survey
Remember that an opinion survey has no right or wrong answers. We are interested in your thoughts on the direction of SA Ultimate (just kidding: I can make a marking memorandum available at a certain price
)
Deadline: 19 November 2012
We would like to obtain responses from everyone who plays Disc locally, so please forward far and wide.
:-)

SAFDA Questionnaire
According to the mandate in its Constitution, SAFDA's main objectives are to promote Ultimate in South Africa, select South African representatives for international tourneys, and cultivate the growth of the sport.
Currently the SAFDA Committee consists of 6 members representing most of the provinces where Ultimate is actively played (Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo and the Western Cape) and it is endeavouring to assist clubs with the promotion of Spirit of the Game and building new and established skills. The bad news is: SAFDA has almost no funds (at the moment, the R20 SAFDA levy that forms part of the Player Fee during Nationals is just enough to pay our World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) fees - which ensures South Afrca's on-going affiliation to WFDF and being eligible to compete in international events).
We are therefore inviting input from the Ultimate community to assist us with ideas for building SAFDA, and making decisions on criteria for international and nationals tourneys.
