The Doctoral Symposium in Informatics Engineering 2010 (DSIE'10)
continues the series of past workshops hold in the context of the
Doctoral Programme in Informatics Engineering –ProDEI- at Faculty of
Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).

This Symposium is part of the course on Methodologies for Scientific
Research (MSR) of ProDEI and aims to provide students a forum to
present their research proposals, share their ongoing work, discuss
their ideas and collect feedback from peers, professors and
experienced researchers. With this Symposium it is expected that
students can improve their knowledge in methodologies for scientific
research as well as devise and establish new research directions on
the areas of Informatics Engineering and Computers Sciences.

The Programme and Scientific Committees are composed by ProDEI
students, faculty and invited senior researchers, who will jointly
review the submitted papers.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
