Hi all,

I am in a difficult position with a backwards compatibility issue when running PsychoPy on a shared laptop at a local research center. Specifically, the center uses the NIH EXAMINER battery for executive function, which requires the use of PsychoPy version 1.73. I have several scripts that have been programmed in PsychoPy 1.8 and 1.9, and so far have found the forward compatibility to work fine when I upgrade the software, but each of the scripts crashes when running it in 1.73. Specifically, the scripts crash when attempting to load psychopy.visual

Are there any specific workarounds that might enable me to make this work, or will I be left having to reprogram my tasks in a legacy version of the software? Updating the version on the center machines is not an option as too many ongoing projects are relying on EXAMINER.

Any advice much appreciated!

Jeremy
