Hi
My friend is getting an ActiChamp EEG system. Has anyone used PsychoPy with it and got the trigger (codes) to work? The stimulus presentation and EEG collection computer are connected with a parallel port. PsychoPy should be able to work, but ...The only posting I found was from 2 years ago and that person could not get it to work. I have never set up a parallel port, but I understand it can be tricky.
My friend uses E-Prime, but I would like to nudge her to PsychoPy.

Hello,
you'll just have to get the parallel port to work, which is possible,
but sometimes a bit cumbersome -- see for example

Alternatively you can use a cheap DAQ card too.
