Experiences with ERP and Galvanic skin response

Hello ALL!
Please, can you share your experience with PsychoPy in conducting
experiments with ERP, and Galvanic skin response with bload pressure?
Our Lab seriously considers to put all trust in PsychoPy.

Hello,

I'm currently using psychopy with Biopac to measures GSR and ECG. It
works really easily just using the parallelport to send a trigger to
the biopac as a marker for when stimuli are displayed.

Hello Susan,
Which instruments you use for GSR and ECG? Is there a trigger in that
equipment?

Hello

I use BIOPAC. You can send a digital trigger through the parallel
port.You need to download the parallel port IPO driver first - look
through the help files on psychopy for the file to download. Biopac
then picks up the trigger through the parallel port. At the moment
i've just set it up to detect when stimuli start and stop, so biopac
continuously records but can then use the digital signal from the
parallel port to set stimulus event markers.

Hi Susan,
Could you help me with this synchonization, how you set event markers
in PsychoPy or in BIOPAC? Hoe you set that for situation when
presentation of stimuli are depending on participants response and not
the same for all participants?

Dear Susan,

Only one question, do you work in pc or mac?. We are considering seriously to change to Psychopy, working in mac and with a biopac. I supose then it will not be necesary to use the stimtracker, won´t it?

I just go through your discussion two years ago about how to synchronize psychopy with EEG for trigger and marker.
