Dear All,

Greetings! Hope this year 2026 has started well for you all.

I am writing on behalf of Samatha Psychosocial Care who are organising a free Webinar for Nepal - on Dyslexia: Identification, Accommodation and Practical Tools.

Date & Time: 19th January 2026, 5.30pm to 7pm Nepal time

Facilitator: Ania Smithers is an experienced inclusion leader currently serving as Head of Inclusion at an international school in Cracow. After spending five years in Kathmandu as Head of Additional Learning Needs at a British school, she brings over two decades of international experience gained across Poland, the UK, and Asia. Her career spans primary and secondary settings, as well as public and private education, and is underpinned by a deep commitment to inclusive practice and student wellbeing.

About the Webinar: The 90-minute dyslexia training session will provide a clear and practical overview of dyslexia, focusing on how it presents in the classroom and how it impacts learning. The session will combine short input segments with interactive discussion, real-life examples, and simple screening strategies to support early identification. Teachers will be introduced to evidence-based classroom accommodations, inclusive teaching approaches, and practical tools they can implement immediately. The training will conclude with guidance on supporting student self-advocacy and working collaboratively with families to ensure consistent, effective support.
