Dear all,
is it within the scope of psych-DS to recommend certain formats for date / date-time variables (and potentially other common variables)?
(I would say: yes.)
I think
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601
is the way to go, with
YYYY-MM-DD for dates and
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (or HH:MM:SS.SSS) for date-times
At least for the meta-data json (which also contains dates), this should be defined and validated in the validator.
