Representing Value Labels

Hi everyone,

I am working on making sure our tools export JSON in the proper schema.org format that are also aligned with the spec. What wasn't clear to me was how to represent value labels within a variable. Oliver Lindemann suggested CategoryCode and kindly provided this gist example: https://gist.github.com/lindemann09/869536f0e2640eb82a2fa19158d6236a

Does this look appropriate to folks? Do we see any issues or reasons why this wouldn't work?
