Since the development of psutil is holding up I'd like to see what
we've done so far and if we're ready to release a new version in the
hope that it will give some new life to the project, somehow.

Here follows the goals we have reached so far (
http://code.google.com/p/psutil/issues/list?can=2&q=status=FixedInSVN&colspec=ID%20Summary%20Type%20Opsys%20Status%20Milestone%20Opened%20Owner%20Progress
):

- implemented process username / groupname
- implemented process current working directory
- is_running() is 10X faster
- added a graphical task manager in demo directory
- various bugfixes

IMHO I would say that this is enough for releasing a new 0.1.3
version.
Now, I'd like to close all the open issues having a status different
than "FixedInSVN":
http://code.google.com/p/psutil/issues/list?can=2&q=status%3DNew%2CStarted%2CAccepted&colspec=ID+Summary+Type+Opsys+Status+Milestone+Opened+Owner+Progress&cells=tiles

Most of them are about BSD/OSX C code optimizations. Jay, could you
please take care of them?
I'll take care of issues assigned to me and try to close them as soon
as possible.

Cheers

Jay

I would like to resolve Issue #63 before releasing, since it makes the username/groupname a lot more accurate. Otherwise I'm OK with releasing a 0.1.3 version.
